Le projet propose une triple variation autour du motif de la Pangea Proxima.
Ce terme désigne un supercontinent susceptible de se former sur Terre dans futur lointain, recomposant sous d’autres contours la Pangée originaire qui a réuni toutes les terres émergées il y a 250 millions d’années. Le tirage photographique présente une projection science-fictionnelle de ce super continent hypothétique. Cette projection se situe ainsi dans un temps indécidable, à la fois archaïque et futuriste. La Terre y apparait comme un astre désolé, augurant d’un avenir glacé et déshumanisé.

The project offers a threefold variation on the theme of Pangea Proxima.
This term refers to a supercontinent likely to form on Earth in the distant future, reassembling—with different contours—the original Pangea that united all landmasses 250 million years ago. The photographic print presents a science-fictional projection of this hypothetical supercontinent. This projection thus occupies an indeterminate timeframe, at once archaic and futuristic. Earth appears as a desolate celestial body, foreshadowing a frozen, dehumanized future.
